The Town of Steilacoom Public Works Department operates, maintains, and provides improvements to the Town’s electric, water, sanitary sewer, street, and storm drain systems. Solid waste and recycling collection is provided by the LeMay Company.

Clean Energy Transformation Act (CETA) – Clean Energy Implementation Plan Outreach:
In 2019 the WA legislature passed the Clean Energy Transformation Act. This law requires the Town of Steilacoom to file a Clean Energy Implementation Plan. We are looking for your input for this plan.
As we develop our Clean Energy Implementation Plan, we want to understand how our residents view their communities and how the transition to cleaner electricity could help shape the future.

Small Works and Professional Services Information
Town of Steilacoom Small Works and Consultant Rosters Transition Announcement
As of 2013, the Town of Steilacoom will have MRSC Rosters begin maintaining our small public works and consultant rosters. To continue being eligible to work on Town of Steilacoom roster projects for small construction related or small engineering / architectural projects, you will need to re-apply for free and select Town of Steilacoom in your application. Previous roster applications will not be used as of January 1, 2013. If you have questions about the MRSC Rosters registration process, please contact Ellen Hutchinson, MRSC Rosters Manager at 206-625-1300.
